Project Name: Indonesia Coal Short-Haul PV-Storage-Charging Integrated Project
Project Location: Palembang, Sumatra
Project Introduction:
Focusing on the 23-kilometer coal short-haul scenario between the "railway station and the wharf" in Palembang, Sumatra, this project deploys an off-grid, isolated PV-storage-charging synergistic system to address the pain points of "high energy consumption and high costs" in traditional transportation:
Core Configuration: A 30 MW PV system and a 20 MWh energy storage system are deployed, paired with 12 liquid-cooled 720 kW charging piles to support 70 electric heavy trucks with a 30-ton payload capacity (equipped with 400 kWh batteries; each round trip of 46 km consumes 65.55 kWh, allowing 4.27 trips per full charge). Through intelligent scheduling, the system meets the transportation demand of 11 trips per truck per day, with a total daily charging volume of 50,473.5 kWh. Leveraging its core resources in energy and coal exports, the project achieves off-grid self-sufficient power supply, adapting to the transportation scenario on internally restricted roads while replacing traditional energy with green power to significantly reduce the energy costs of coal short-haul transportation. The project is capable of continuous year-round production.
