Although COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry (Guangdong) is an industry benchmark, the problems of its old plant rooftops have constrained its high-quality, green development. The plant is located near the sea, where traditional roofs are subject to salt-spray corrosion, causing frequent leaks that affect equipment safety, drive up maintenance costs, and even threaten production safety. After comparison and evaluation, the company chose LONGi & Sente's LONGi Roof (Londing) BIPV to renovate and upgrade its old plant rooftops.
