Curved material-yard rooftops, with their large curvature and complex load-bearing conditions, have long been regarded as a "no-go zone" for PV installation. The Jiangsu Changqiang Steel project has overturned this perception. The LONGi & Sente team adopted a "slope-conforming" (follow-the-slope) installation scheme, allowing the PV system to fit perfectly onto the curved roof. Without damaging the original structure, the project achieved an installed capacity of 18 MW.
